Additional and your feedback

Updates on corporate culture, PR initiatives, and fun facts, including monthly team-building events and the company culture's detailed explanation.

Involve Space's corporate culture is distinctly characterized by its emphasis on team cohesion, innovation, and a strong sense of community. This focus is evident in the company's dedication to organizing monthly team-building activities, designed not only to strengthen the interpersonal bonds among team members but also to foster an environment of mutual support, creativity, and shared goals.

Monthly Team Building activities

Involve Space's corporate culture takes a significant step forward with the introduction of Matilda Galluzzo, handpicked by CEO Jonathan Polotto to co-lead the HR Management. Matilda’s role is pivotal in overseeing the onboarding of new hires, highlighting the importance of a structured and welcoming integration process. This careful approach ensures that every new member feels immediately part of the Involve Space family, understanding the company's values, goals, and their personal role in achieving these objectives. Furthermore, Matilda takes charge of talent management, collaborating closely with Jonathan to organize corporate cohesion activities, including team-building events.

These team-building events are kept a surprise until the day they occur, adding an element of suspense and excitement within the team. This strategy not only preserves the mystery but also encourages team members to embrace experiences beyond their comfort zones. Whether it's challenging personal limits, overcoming fears, or simply engaging in new activities alongside colleagues, the essence of these events is to foster a strong, interconnected team dynamic in a fun and unpredictable way.

  • April 2024: Giro Pizza: In April, our team was very busy with LarioSpace 2024.The only moment possible to get together with the whole team was a very hungry and delicious “giro pizza”.We didn’t take a photo, damn! :(
  • May 2024: Event postponed: The planned team building event for May was postponed due to the significant undertaking of number of events and tests. This period highlighted the company's adaptability and the team's willingness to prioritize organizational needs, demonstrating flexibility and a collective commitment to the company's growth and operational efficiency.
  • June 2024: Boat Tour: In June, after months of rain, summer finally arrived and we couldn't have inaugurated it better than with a boat tour. We rented two boats on Lake Como and had an aperitif on board after whizzing around and relaxing at sunset.

Team wishlist: our corporate welfare

In addition to fostering a strong sense of community and innovation within its corporate culture, Involve Space has launched a unique initiative known as the "Team Wishlist." This initiative reflects a deep appreciation for the team's hard work and dedication, allowing each member to aspire to a gift every quarter of the year with a maximum budget to respect, but there's an exciting twist: team members have the option to accumulate their quarterly bonuses to opt for a more expensive gift at the end of the year.

However, the Team Wishlist is more than just a rewards program. Gifts are approved based on a demonstration of additional commitment in the past quarter, such as greater work dedication, dedicated overtime, additional tasks related to one's role, or having played a crucial part in helping the company achieve important results and milestones. This criterion ensures that the rewards are meaningful and earned, reinforcing the values of excellence and commitment within the company.

Although the assignment of gifts from the Team Wishlist is subjective and at the discretion of the company's CEO, Jonathan Polotto, and COO Claudio Piazzai, the process incorporates a unique democratic element. Before any decision is made, the entire team is invited to participate in an anonymous survey to express their preference for who they believe deserves the gift for that quarter. This step acknowledges that colleagues often have a deep understanding of each other's commitment, hard work, and the extra miles someone might have gone.

This method of incorporating team feedback ensures that the recognition process is not only top-down but also reflects the sentiments and perceptions of the entire team. It recognizes the value of peer acknowledgment and the insights team members can offer about the dedication and contributions of their colleagues. By doing so, it reinforces a culture of transparency, respect, and collective recognition within Involve Space.

The anonymous questionnaire serves as a tool for empowering team members to have a say in the rewards process, enhancing the feeling of camaraderie and shared goals. It's a reminder that while leadership steers the company's direction, the success and achievements are deeply rooted in the collective effort of every individual in the team.

Through this nuanced approach to rewards and recognition, Involve Space strengthens its commitment to creating an environment where excellence is recognized, dedication is celebrated, and team cohesion is paramount. The "Team Wishlist" initiative, complemented by the anonymous team feedback mechanism, exemplifies how Involve Space values the contributions of all its members, fostering a corporate culture that is inclusive, dynamic, and deeply connected.
